Presentation Title:

Considering AQF Levels and Foundation Skills In Assessment Design

Presentation Brief:

This presentation will challenge the view that units of competence do not have an AQF level; they should be assessed in the context of the qualification in which they are packaged. This view presents challenges when designing and developing assessments to meet the rules of evidence.  The session will explore how the AQF framework, Foundation Skills and LLN expectations affect competency-based assessment design and how those are identified and incorporated.
